Slacker

I have been slacking horribly lately! I have good reason though! About a monthish ago my computer crashed on me. 😦 It was sad. I had all my photos on there, all my photo programs, everything. I was very upset! I really need to invest in an external hard drive. Or start storing my photos on a site that will keep them safe from ever loosing them again. Needless to say I had been computerless (except for using my old one that barely worked) and I hadn’t been able to take many photos or edit any.

I am back though! New computer, downloading my photo programs as we speak. I have a couple of photo sessions lined up. All I have to say is I can’t wait until summer gets here. Good weather brings more photoshoots! So, this update is just a text update. No photos. 😦

I need help with transitioning my business. Or maybe I just need to work on my photos more to be able to transition. I think I will work on that more. Trying to be more consistent and practicing a lot more! It is hard to do so with planning a wedding, raising three children, and taking care of a house hold. I just need to make time! 🙂

Anyways, my next blog should be filled with photos! 🙂

New year, New start

I am off to a wonderful start to the new year! There is so much to look forward to this year, like this blog! I hope to post at least once a week with all sorts of new exciting events, photos of my sessions, challenges that will come up here and there. I am so excited to start my new life in the photography business. I have done a couple of sessions already this year that I will be blogging this weekend.

I suppose I should introduce myself! The name is Alyssa. I am not good at this whole blogging thing. Once I have something to have something write about other than me, things will get smoother. Just a little something about me: I have three children, I am getting married this year, I work full-time on top of my photography business. I love fuzzy socks and warm feet. I am a HUGE procrastinator. I would love in my sweatshirt if I could. I get goosebumps when I look at camera equipment.

So here is to a great year and good business!
